Hi Brent -
I also want to sincerely thank you for your support over the years.
I closed up shop on Blogger and have been on TUMBLR for many months now and highly recommend it as a safe and reliable platform.
Best of luck to everyone !!
thanks for the work you do
Thanks a lot for your great blog! A pity you close it.
Why not continue with a different strategy? From now on you could list the blogs that are still online ;-) But seriously, please let this blog open, e.g. you could publish the new addresses of the blogs that will be private soon. After a blog is private the visitors can no longer be informed about the new URL.
Another hint: I don't think that Tumblr is a good idea. You cannot backup your content there. And I reported it already some time ago: also Tumblr is closing gay blogs! E.g. if there are copyright complaints. And we all use pictures that are not our own ones.
So the best solution is a self-hosted Wordpress blog of course. Or staying at blogger with g-rated content.
I think they've rescinded the policy....

It seems they have changed their minds (again): http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2015/02/27/google-reverses-ban-on-explicit-material-on-blogger/

Hey Ward And Unknown, while I'm seeing several reports of this information being posted on the Net from various sources like you and I hoping it is TRUE, but till I receive an e-mail from Google stating the fact that they have changed their minds, I'm not so sure this may be TRUE!!! (Brent)
