A Question To All Gay Google Blog
Owners?:
We have been receiving more and more
e-mails asking if anybody has reported that some pics are being removed without
notice from the owner's Picasa Account and while the answer is no, for no one
has, I have been seeing more and more thumbnails in Blog Roles, Ours included,
with one of the following two......
the second one is Google newest and has
just started appearing on more and more blogs which means that the the original posted photo is no longer
available! In the past this was a sure sign that the Blog had been closed and
the Picasa Account Removed, but that is not currently the case all the time now,
the blog is still open only the top photo is missing along with a few others.
So Our question to you Blog owners is, has this happened on Your Blog and if
so, has some of your Photo been removed from your Picasa Account or is it just
the link to the Photo that has gone bad for some reason? Please take the time
to let Us know either by posting a comment to this posting or e-mailing Us
with Your answer so we can looking into this problem for Oh So many blog
owners further. Thanks
Your Blogger Buddies Always, Jeff &
Brent

I think they have a problem while uploading pix to Picassa, i've had this issue a few times the last weeks, when uploading you allready come to see in your uploading window this thumblog, if i upload the missing pic again it mostly goes without problems, till now i didn't have pix that were taken away .... ans i hope it stays like that :)) Pat
This is technically problem issued by Google+ accounts. It is not only a problem of gay blogs.
I am sorry, I cannot explain that better in English. Watch the Blogger and Picasa forums.
Thanks P@t, Thanks Jack for taking the time to let us know of what you know of the current problem of missing photos. All your information is greatly appreciated in finding out how to resolve this problem. And Jack, You explained it well enough for me to understand and I'm looking into the Blogger and Picasa forums for more information. Thanks. And P@t, boy did you get this one right, I have been having problems posting photos for a month or so within the uploading window on the "ALL New and Improved Dashboard". But the good news is, I have found that by trying different Browsers I have much, much better luck. While my default Browser is the latest version of Firefox, I find that while the photo uploads to my Picase Account, I have one hell of a time to get them to add to my posting no matter how many times I click on the "ADD" button or the thumbnail photo, but when I access the New Dashboard via the Chrome Browsers I'm finding that it handshakes with the New Dashboard much, much better and while it is NOT working perfectly, at least I can add photos to my posting with just one click of the "Add" Button. Hoping this is of some help to you P@t and others. Your Blogger Buddy (Brent)

I have visited some blogs and when I try to view pictures from picasa I get image removed due to violation of terms. I would also like to address the closing of the gay blogs google sucks don't try to get your blogs back on google blogger use one of the alternative blogs Jeff has listed for your on this blog, why use google when they are just going to remove them again. The alternatives are better give them a try.
Thank you guys for all you do. you know that I am one who is forever grateful for your work.
In answer to the question...yes, it happens to me all of the time...it is not just posts that have already been published...it is also with posts that I prepare a day in advance and when I am ready to publish the first picture is gone.
I have to check and double check to make sure that everything is there before I post.
Also, the type size and style changes once you post it...I have had monstruous type sizes appear when in reality I specified "normal".
Again thank you for your work and your blog.
saludos,
raulito

I have been following along in the Help Forums and frankly the Google Employees do not know why this is happening yet. Some believe it has to do with Google+ being introduced, some believe that it has to do with the home Picasa album being private, not public, some say some viewers can see the images and others can't - meaning it's a operating system problem, not google's.
I have read one user state when he re-posts his blocked images via HTML that they show up. I haven't tried this myself.
We will try to keep you posted.
Jeff & Brent
@Jeffore As you mentioned, it may not be worth all the problems and time it takes to appeal your Google Blogger blog being closed by Blogger. It is certainly easier, faster, and more settling to open one's blog anywhere other than Blogger. However, so many folks who open their first blog on Blogger are so used to it that they don't want to change. That is a big reason why folks beat their heads against the wall to stay with Blogger.
For my personal blog, I said fuck this shit, and got my own domain and pay an independent server. I have absolutely no fears that my blog, Daddy's Dad Boys, won't be there each morning. Jeff
@ Jack and all - Jack is totally correct. This image problem is not a gay image problem, or a gay blog image problem. The problem is hitting all Google Blogger blogs - adult and non-adult alike.
Thanks guys for the great blog; the forum is very useful and informative. I have had a lot of my questions answered. Recently, I have had numerous images removed from my blog, not just postings, but on the sidebar as well. It is very frustrating because as much as I appreciate all the visitors to my blog, I realize there are certain expectations to be met each time they visit. Images are expected and not simply some symbol that leaves them guessing.
Keep up the great work, and I fully realize it is probably a "labor of love".
