Hey Blog Fans and Blog Buddies, first of all I apologize for not getting a Posting done last Wednesday, but you see I have been without my computer all week.  Went to start it up Monday morning and it wouldn't start up at all, not even in "Safe Mode".  So took into the repair shop and to make a long story short, come to find out it was one of the boards that had gone bad.  Anyway, just got it back late yesterday afternoon and while it is up and running once again and I'm able to get on line, I still need to install all my programs and restore all my data files, picture etc. etc. etc. from my backups before I'm back up and fully running once again, so that is why I'm asking all of you to please stand by and hoping I can get everything done this weekend and for those that have e-mailed me, get your e-mails answered also. Ok? Ok. And thanks for understanding.  Mean while, enjoy all the links in the "Re-Opened" and "Supporter" Sections.

Yahoo/Tumblr NOW CLOSING GAY BLOGS!!!

Yes Blogger Fans, ever since Yahoo purchased the "Tumblr" Blogging Platform, it has always been highly speculated that Yahoo would be closing Gay Blogs, like they did/do with Yahoo Gay Groups and just like Google is doing, and while I'm sorry to say that speculation appears to have come to an end!!!  For I just received this e-mail from the Blog Owner Of "Ethic Men", which still has His Blog on Google, but once had a Blog on Tumblr till last week that read, and I might add, English is not his native language and is in somewhat broken English, but I was able to understand what He was saying, so I let it stand as is as it read...  

Hi Brent, I just write to you to tell that Tumblr has started to close gay blogs, with the excuse...

That violates some toes in relation with affiliates programs posts, however, when I open the blog in the toes that I agree nothing of that appear, for these reason and because Google closes gay blogs too I enjoy Tumblr. But this is like a persecution against gay community. An all this without and advert to eliminate posts or to fix that were wrong. Please if you could inform this in your blog I will appreciate.

Google Ad Executives Are Praying That Their Corporate Sponsors Don't Know About This!!!

Yes Blogger Fans for those of you that have a G-mail Account and you don't like the latest change in the way to view and download attachments, well there is a way to switch back to the old way, but I'm sure that the Google Ad Executives are praying that many of their corporate sponsors don't know about this, because once you make the switch, there is NO MORE Advertising on the G-mail Pages, just your e-mails and boy do things work so much faster in this mode.
   

So for those of you that would like to switch back to the old way, it is very easy to do for all you have to do is when your G-mail account is opening, is just click on "Load basic HTML (for slower connections)" that is displayed in the lower right hand corner as shown here....

Once you are in this mode, if you like it this way and you can live without advertisements and all the other little things that are in Standard View,  then you can change your G-mail account settings to have it always open in this mode and if you don't like it this way you can just click on "Standard View" at the bottom of the page.  Who knows, just maybe of enough G-mail Accounts switch to this mode, then just maybe Google will make Lightbox an option in Standard View rather than just all of us being stuck with it.  Hoping this information is of help to someone and with this said, here is....
